I really like the Assets in this series, but I'm wondering how the rockets are meant to work. Is it a series or are you supposed to iterate only over a subset of the sprite?

I thought of it as a launch of four missiles one after the other. the Vehicle remains stationary during that action.

Sorry, that is clear to me. But the rocket picture is not clear. If I ran it from the first to the last frame, it appears like it flies next to a light source or so

But the rocket just lights up, it's a looping animation. As does the bullet. It's a feature that I was inspired by the metal slug game. Where some bullets light up.
